Bond Health Staffing is seeking a dedicated Teacher's Assistant to support Special Education Teachers in a Brooklyn school-based setting. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Level I NYS Teacher Assistant Certification (or higher) required.
  • Minimum six months of Teacher Assistant experience preferred.
  • Registered with the NYS TEACH system.
  • Board of Education fingerprint clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Completion of Domestic Violence and Child Abuse workshops.
  • Current pre-employment physical with required immunization documentation (PPD, MMR, TDAP, Varicella).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Special Education Teacher with classroom instruction and daily activities.
  • Provide classroom, programmatic, and physical support to students as assigned.

  • Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and required in-service trainings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school policies and safety procedures.

Position Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
