Job summary

Ambient Enterprises, a national HVAC firm, seeks a Certified TAB Technician to join our field team in Southern California. You will perform testing, adjusting, and balancing of HVAC air and hydronic systems, collect data, and verify performance against design specs.

You will report results, collaborate with project managers and engineers, and travel to sites across San Diego, Riverside, Orange, and Los Angeles counties to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

NEBB TAB Certification current and active.
Minimum of 3 years' HVAC TAB experience with successful project history.
Proficient with TAB instruments and HVAC components.
Familiarity with building automation controls and Excel/Bluebeam.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Southern CA.

Responsibilities

Testing, adjusting, and balancing of HVAC air and hydronic systems.
Accurately record measurements and analyze data for performance.
Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
Verify system functionality of VAVs, fans, pumps, and controls.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors; adhere to safety policies.
