Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Surgical Technician to join the perioperative team. The role involves preparing and maintaining sterile fields, assisting with procedures, and ensuring instruments and supplies are used properly.

Candidates should have surgical technology training and 0–2 years OR experience. The position is PRN with benefits for eligible staff, including health and dental coverage, retirement with employer match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 1) Associate degree or technical school certificate in surgical technology required.
• 2) 0–2 years of operating room experience preferred.
• 3) Certification/licensing as applicable in surgical technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon and perioperative team during procedures.
• Ensure instruments and supplies are used safely and correctly.
