Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a surgical setting.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
• Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure.
• Maintain sterile field during procedures.
• Provide surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments.

Skills

Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures

Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist

Current BLS (AHA) certificate

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Graduate of an ORT training program or equivalent
