Job summary

Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our surgical team. This is a full-time, on-site role with a Monday–Thursday schedule (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM) plus on-call, offering a great work-life balance in a close-knit, mission-driven environment.

In this role, you will support safe and efficient surgical care by preparing instruments and equipment, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting surgeons during procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented with strong teamwork and communication.
• Experience in surgical asepsis and sterile technique preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate for CST responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and assist surgeons during operations.
• Perform accurate counts and ensure patient safety throughout each case.
• Assist with patient positioning/transfers and room turnover.
• Clean and process equipment, including endoscopy scopes, and support staff.
