Job summary

Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for full-time, 36 hours per week. The role requires working 11:00am–11:00pm with rotating evenings, overnights, weekends, and on-call shifts. Sign-on bonus of $10,000–$15,000 depending on shift and CST experience is offered.

Responsibilities include assisting the surgical team as a scrub person during all phases of surgery. Candidates must graduate from an accredited CST program and hold CPR (BLS) certification; AST

• Must be a graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross; AST certification also required.
• If not certified at hire, must obtain certification within 18 months of hire date.
• Preferred: Previous Surgery/OR experience.

Hourly Pay Range: $26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Sign on bonus: $10,000 - $15,000 (amount depends on shift, 2 years of prior CST experience is required for sign-on bonus)

What you will do:

Under general supervision, acts as a surgical scrub person by performing any combination of tasks before, during and after surgery to assist the surgical team.

What you will need:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician program or equivalent
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross National certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists is required.
• If applicant does not possess certification at time of hire, must obtain it within 18 months of hire date
• Preferred: Previous Surgery/OR experience
