Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NCCT, NBSTSA).
• BLS certification required.
• Hospital OR experience preferred; required for PRN.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Prepare sterile instrument table for procedures.
• Assist in positioning patients and preparing skin for surgery.
• Maintain sterile techniques and monitor for breaches.
