Meritus Health is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for the ASC in Hagerstown, MD. This full-time, on-site role supports safe, efficient intra-operative care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Expect teamwork, precise sterile technique, and preparation of instruments. Requirements include CST credential and BLS, with a competitive hourly pay range of $25.91 to $38.89.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and proper handling of instruments.
• Support intra-operative patient care with the RN and surgical team.
• Demonstrate competence in surgical case preparation and age-specific care.
• Monitor equipment and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and respectful surgical environment.
