Job summary

The Staff Pad is collaborating with a Manchester, NH-based healthcare facility to recruit a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a full-time day shift with on-call duties. You will support surgeons and the OR team, ensuring sterile technique and efficient operation room flow.

Responsibilities include instrument handling, counts, room preparation, and equipment troubleshooting. The role requires CST certification, a Surgical Technology program background, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain.
• Current CST certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team throughout procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
• Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts with the circulating nurse.
• Clean, restock, and prepare operating rooms between procedures.
• Ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and report any issues.
• Handle and label surgical specimens according to established protocols.

What You'll Do
