Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our day-shift team. The CST participates in planning and implementing patient care under RN supervision and assists the surgeon during operative procedures.

This role supports instrument handling, sterilization, and room readiness, ensuring a safe, efficient operating environment. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology and CST certification, with ongoing CEU requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• CST certification or eligibility required.
• Minimum CEU requirement of 15 hours annually.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon during operative procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize operating room and instruments.
• Maintain sterile field and follow aseptic techniques.
• Verify supplies and equipment readiness.
• Follow preference cards and assist in case cart management.
