Job summary

SCA Health in Wilsonville, Oregon is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to assist in surgical procedures and ensure proper preparation of instruments. You will function as a scrub person during operations, maintaining a sterile environment and supporting surgeons throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited Surgical Technologist Program and possess current CST certification. A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan, is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist Program is necessary.
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification desired.
• Completion of a BLS course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning of operative rooms.
• Prepare rooms for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
