Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the Main Operating Room team. You will work with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers to prepare the sterile field and assist during procedures.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, current CST certification through NBSTSA, BLS, and knowledge of sterile technique and OR procedures. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and maintaining the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures
• Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety
• Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and operating room procedures.
• Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
