Job summary

OrthoIndy Northwest is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Greenwood hospital team. CSTs staff four operating rooms and scrub on orthopedic procedures, preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile, safe environment.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, weekday shifts from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, rotating day off, minimal call, and full benefits. NEW GRADS welcomed; CST certification and BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in surgical technology from an accredited program.
• CST certification (NBSTSA preferred).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in the OR for orthopedic procedures and assist the surgical team.
• Prepare equipment and sterile instruments for use.
• Maintain a clean and safe operating room environment.

Education

Associate degree in surgical technology from an accredited program

OrthoIndy is seeking a top performing Certified Surgical Technologist to join our nationally ranked team! Our Certified Surgical Technologists staff four operating rooms at our Greenwood Hospital. They are responsible for performing a variety of duties in the operating room area to assist the surgical team, such as scrubbing on all types of orthopedic surgical procedures, preparing equipment and sterile instruments for use, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Types of cases you can expect to work are total joints, sports medicine, spine, hand/foot/ankle, trauma, and some oncology.

What we’re looking for:

OrthoIndy Hospital focuses on bone, joint, spine and muscle care and complex surgical procedures including total joint replacements and spinal operations. Our main facility, OrthoIndy Hospital Main, provides inpatient care for patients undergoing more invasive procedures, such as disc replacement, spinal fusion or total joint replacement. We have two additional facilities (located in Greenwood and Brownsburg) for outpatient procedures requiring stays of 23 hours or less.
