Position Overview

Provides technical and clinical support to the perioperative team during a variety of surgical procedures, primarily in cardiovascular surgery. Handles instrumentation, supplies, and equipment as the primary scrub person, anticipating the needs of the surgeon and procedure.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Surgical Technology program
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in an operating room setting
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Demonstrates manual dexterity and ability to handle equipment and instruments
