Job summary

SCA Health, part of Optum, is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team. You will function as a scrub during procedures, prepare instruments, and help maintain a sterile field throughout operations.

Required: high school diploma, CST program graduate; prior CST experience preferred; BLS within 90 days or current BLS cert preferred. Pay ranges USD $33.00 to $45.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist program.
• Prior CST experience preferred.
• Current CST certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS within 90 days or current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
