Overview

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Certified Surgical Techs are essential in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We foster an environment that values our employees' unique strengths, experiences, and perspectives, which drive our commitment to quality care.

What You Can Expect:

• Schedule: Three teams consisting of three circulating RNs and three Scrubs (RNs or CSTs) in a 3-week rotation. Typical hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with weekday call starting at 3:30 pm and ending at 7:00 am. Weekend call is 24 hours.
• Perioperative 101 Overview: Join our Wood River Operating Room team in grey scrubs to develop your nursing skills through our periop 101 training. Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals passionate about surgery, learning about instruments, scopes, sterilization, robotics, and patient advocacy during the surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by NCCT

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience
