Job summary

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View in Suffolk, VA, is seeking a PRN Certified Surgical Technologist to support USPI’s mission, scrub for procedures, and uphold safety and quality with a dedicated team.

Requirements include high school graduation, completion of a surgical technology program, and BLS; prior ambulatory center experience is preferred. Pay ranges from $25.02 to $36.27 per hour, with competitive benefits.

PRN: Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist

No Weekends, No Call, No Holidays

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a PRN Certified Surgical Technologist. We are a busy multispecialty surgery center serving Northern Suffolk and an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International (USPI). USPI’s mission is to care for each patient and their family as if they were our own. Each patient, each family, each and every time.

The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Certified Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while working with leadership in meeting facility safety, quality, customer service, and financial goals.

Pay Range:$25.02/hour - $36.27/hour

(Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)

Required Skills:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent
• Licensure: Completion of an appropriate surgical technology program
• Experience: Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Certifications: BLS required
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
