Job Description:

Job Title: Surgical Technologist-OR

Location: New York City, New York

Schedule: 35 hours per week

Shift: 5x7 Days (7 hrs) 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay Range: $1950.00 - $2026.00 Weekly DOE

Overview

We are looking for a Certified Surgical Technician to provide surgical assistance to residents and attending physicians in the oral surgery clinic and dental ambulatory OR/procedure room.

Job Responsibilities:

• Escort patients to the surgical chair and screen patients awaiting surgery
• Review medical records to confirm treatment and ensure charts are complete (notes, PHM, lab results, etc.)
• Provide four-handed assistance to clinicians at all times
• Clean and disinfect countertops, mayo stands, equipment, etc., before setup
• Organize sterile instruments, surgical trays, and equipment for each procedure
• Take radiographs as requested before, during, and after procedures
• Restock cabinets/drawers; order and maintain medical/surgical supplies
• Remove instruments and equipment after procedures; dispose of medical waste
• Demonstrate ability to respond effectively in emergencies

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience (5 years preferred)
• Certification and License: BLS and Certified Surgical Technician with Eye, ENT, Plastic Surgery experience required
