Job summary

USPI Parkway Surgery Center in Henderson, NV is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a full-time role. The position supports sterile technique, prepares supplies, and participates as a key member of the surgical team.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of scrub tech experience, completion of a surgical technologist program, and Nevada certification. Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no on-call or night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Surgical Scrub Tech experience with orthopedic procedures.
• State of Nevada Surgical Technologist certification as required.
• Experience in ambulatory surgical centers preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Job Summary

The Certified Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Monday-Friday daytime work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of Surgical Technologist training program
• 2 + years experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech with experience in multiple specialties. Must have experience working orthopedic procedures.
• Certification as required by state of Nevada
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians
