Job summary

Our client, a 600+ bed healthcare facility near Spartanburg and Greenville, seeks Certified Surgical Technologists to join their operating room team on 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts.

New grads must be certified; a $5,000 retention bonus is offered with a 2-year commitment. CSTs will float between Main and North Campus and receive base pay with a $7.00/hr add-on; CSFAs receive base pay with a $2.00 add-on.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military equivalent.
• Certification is required; if certified after 1/1/08, must be certified.
• Non-certified candidates may be hired but must obtain certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Under RN direction, provides technical assistance during surgical procedures using sterile technique.
• Provides direct and indirect nursing care for pediatric to geriatric patients in the hospital setting.
• Scrubs and assists in all service lines of the operating room.

Job description

Our client, a 600+ bed healthcare facility located about an hour from Spartanburg, SC, and 45 minutes from Greenville, has a need for Certified Surgical Techs to join their team. They have 8, 10, and 12 hr shifts available.

**They are offering a $5,000 retention bonus with 2 yr commitment**

The CST roles are 8s, 10s, and 12s. The hours are flexible as well. The Resource Team is the new incentive that has been introduced to our CSTs. They will float between the Main and North Campus. For the CSTs, they will receive their base pay with a $7.00/hr add on, and the CSFAs will receive their base pay with a $2.00 add on.

Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provides technical assistance during surgical procedures utilizing sterile technique to ensure quality patient care and safety. Provides direct and indirect nursing care for the pediatric to geriatric patient populations found in the hospital setting. Surgical Technologist will scrub and assist in all service lines of the operating room.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military equivalent.
• Certification is required. If you graduated after 1/1/08 you must be certified. All candidates that graduated prior to 1/1/08 will be eligible for consideration.
• Surgical technologists that are not certified may be hired but must obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
