Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks an Operating Room Technician to support sterile supplies and instruments for procedures, maintain sterile field, and assist surgeons during operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ORT training or equivalent, at least 3 years in surgical settings, scrub experience in multiple specialties, and current BLS; part-time days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required for new hires.
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred).
• Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties (i.e., GYN, General and Plastics).
• Experience scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialty areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro. etc.).
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities
