Certified Surgical Technician PRN - Surgery (Franklin, LA)

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is a clinically competent individual who possesses expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic techniques. The role combines knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and the use of implementation tools and technologies to facilitate physicians' performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

This position includes responsibilities such as passing instruments, sutures, and supplies, and maintaining accountability for surgical counts. It is a full-time role requiring night and weekend call availability.

Requirements include certification from the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) and a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in Orthopedics, GYN, and General Surgery.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
