The role you’ll contribute:

Under general supervision, a surgical scrub technician/nurse assists with patient care in surgery by performing technical and delegated duties. Functions as a member of the surgical team, providing care to surgical patients of all age groups, from neonate to geriatric, as per unit standards of care. Adheres to all applicable regulations and standards, and actively participates in outstanding customer service while maintaining respectful relationships.

• Ensures all supplies, equipment, and medications are prepared prior to surgeries.
• Maintains high standards and quality, contributing to cost savings and efficiency.
• Assists with operating room turnover, directing ancillary personnel, and supporting the surgical team.
• Supervises other healthcare team members in the surgical environment, assisting with orientation and training.
• Promotes a safe environment, acting in emergencies, and reporting hazards and environmental concerns.
