**Responsibilities:**
As our Surgical Tech, you’ll prepare the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We can’t operate without you.
The operating room (OR) runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. Your success in this role comes from your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with a team taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process.

• Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization.
• Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and support surgeons.
• Adapt to the needs of emergency situations.
• Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for the next patient.

Qualifications:

Required Education: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program.

Required Licensure and Certifications: NBSTSA or NCCT, Basic Life Support (BLS).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with varied high-tech surgical equipment.

Preferred Qualifications: One year perioperative services experience preferred.
