Job summary

Georgia Surgery, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks a Surgical Tech to prepare the operating room and assist the surgical team in a variety of procedures. Monday through Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, with emphasis on sterile technique and team collaboration.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, aiding the surgical team, and ensuring a safe, sterile environment. Requires adaptability, strong communication, and PPE proficiency to support patient healing.

Qualifications

• Surgical technologist program completion required or military equivalent.
• Certified Surgical Technologist status within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Set up surgical equipment and instruments for procedures.
• Assist the surgical team during operations.
• Maintain sterile environment throughout cases.
• Collaborate with OR staff and adapt to changing tech and procedures.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

Georgia Surgery

Monday-Friday (7:00am-5:00pm)

As our Surgical Tech, you will help prepare the operating room and surgical team so they can successfully perform a variety of surgical procedures for patients.

Every day you will set up surgical equipment and instruments, assist the surgical team, and ensure a sterile environment. You will be expected to adapt quickly, collaborate effectively within the OR team, and contribute directly to the patient's healing process.

To be successful in this role, you must possess adaptability, a strong team-player mindset, and enthusiasm for supporting complex surgical procedures.

Required

• Other Graduation from a surgical technologist program through an approved school or the military, upon hire
• Certified Surgical Technologist, within 6 - months and
