Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our perioperative team in Los Angeles. In this role you will support surgeons and nurses by preparing sterile instruments, maintaining a safe operating room, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

You must hold a CST certification and BLS, with 0–2 years of clinical experience considered; extensive benefits include PTO, 401(k) with match, and employer-provided life insurance. Equal opportunity employer.

General Summary of Duties

Surgical Technologists, also known as Scrub Technologists , Surgical Technicians , or Operating Room Technicians , assist in surgical procedures under the direction and supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel.

As a vital member of the operating room team, the Surgical Technologist helps ensure a safe, efficient, and sterile environment before, during, and after surgical procedures. Operating room teams commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, registered nurses, and surgical technologists working collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care.

Education, Experience & Requirements

Required

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, as required by state regulations.
  • Individuals who qualify under applicable state grandfathering provisions may be exempt from certification requirements.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred

• Candidates with zero (0) to two (2) years of related clinical experience may be considered.
