OR Certified Surgical Tech – ENT/Plastics Coordinator

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth, TX – Hospital leading surgical care, requires a skilled OR Certified Surgical Tech to support a broad range of procedural specialties.

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Director of Surgical Services and the charge nurse, and direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Surgical Tech is responsible for:

• Providing surgical scrub on all types of minor and major surgical procedures.
• Organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies for easy access and maximum efficiency.
• Setting up sterile field and instruments according to guidelines for designated procedures.
• Utilizing the Electronic Health Care Record system.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure/Certification: Certification in OR Technology (required), BLS (required).
• Specific Job Experience: Experience preferred (1 year), but not required.
