HCA Healthcare is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech (PRN) for Medical City Surgery Center of North Texas, part of HCA Healthcare. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will assist in the operating room, scrub and assist the surgeon, and maintain sterile technique.

You will ensure room turnover, document clinical data, and collaborate with the team to provide safe patient care. Qualified graduates with CST certification and BCLS are encouraged to apply.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Surgical Tech Certification (CST).
• One year OR experience, preferably in ambulatory surgery.
• Valid BCLS certification required; online certification not acceptable.

Mansioni

• Demonstrate practical and specialized skills for the surgical technician per standards.
• Assist in preparing the operative suite, gather supplies and instruments.
• Maintain asepsis in handling instruments, sponges, sutures, drains, and dressings.
• Turnover operating rooms between cases, dispose of trash/linens, clean equipment surfaces.
• Prepare the procedure room for use the following day and report missing items.
