Regent Surgical Health, LLC is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join the Summit Surgery Center team. You will scrub, assist the RN circulator, set up and break down procedures, and manage supplies and equipment in the operating room.

The role requires CST certification, NBSTSA accreditation, and BLS as required by the ASC policy. This is a full-time position with Monday–Friday shifts and no weekend calls.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology.
• CST certification verified via NBSTSA.
• BLS certification as required by ASC policy.

Aufgaben

• Ensure proper supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready for use.
• Restock operating rooms to meet par levels.
• Assist other operating rooms for coverage.
• Follow surgeon preferences, procedures, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Prepare cases for the next day.
• May operate sterilizer, lights, suction machine, and other designated equipment.
• Ensure patient, procedure, site, positioning, and equipment match.
• Adhere to exposure control plans and biosafety policies.
• Report breaks in sterile technique and act per policy.
• Assist in gowning of personnel and draping of patient.
• Pass instruments to surgeon or assistant as needed.
• Communicate needs to circulators to maintain progress of procedure.
