Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operating room services in Cleveland. You will perform duties in the OR, ensure cleanliness and efficiency, and assist with patient care across age ranges while orienting staff to equipment and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Possesses and maintains NBSTSA CST certification.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: Variable (0700-1530, 0900-1730, 1100-1930, 1500-2330, 2300-0730), rotating weekends/holidays

• Performs various duties in the operating room.

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Possesses and maintains certification as a surgical technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds
