The MetroHealth System is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to assist anesthesia providers by preparing and using equipment and supplies for anesthesia administration. The role includes maintaining and calibrating equipment, assisting with turnover, managing cart inventories, and transporting patients/equipment as needed.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to interact with diverse populations. BLS and ASATT credentials preferred.

Assists the Anesthesia care provider with acquiring, preparing and use of equipment and supplies during the administration of anesthesia. Responsible for maintaining anesthesia equipment, i.e., setting up, calibrating, cleaning, and performing minor repairs. Participates in all aspects of operating room cleanup and setup to facilitate efficient turnover between surgical cases. Takes inventory and maintains anesthesia cart supplies in all anesthesia locations throughout the system. Assists with patient transport and assists in the return of equipment to designated storage area upon completion. Performs routine and delegated duties according to MH System policies.
