Job summary

SCA Health in Minnesota is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support operating rooms and invasive procedures. This role includes scrubbing, instrument prep, and room turnover to maintain patient safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, CST certification (or be pursuing), and BLS certification within 90 days. Prior CST experience is preferred, with comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay offered.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
