Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech for a full-time day shift. You will support the Surgical Services team in vascular and ortho cases, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

The role requires OR experience, a Surgical Technology program graduate with certification, BLS, and a commitment to our core standards of teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent.
• Surgical Technician certification is required.
• Six months of operating room experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Role and Responsibilities

The surgical technician functions as a cooperative team member in the Surgical Services department by demonstrating the ability to provide constant technical assistance to the surgeon within his or her scope of practice. The surgical technician follows the current professional practice standards, rules and regulations set forth by AORN and AST. The surgical technician must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the institution.
