St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for the Surgery unit located at our Edgewood, Kentucky hospital.

Shift: Day shift, Weekend option with Saturday and Sunday; Hours: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm; Hours per week: 24 scheduled but compensated for 36; this full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within our long-standing healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program. Proof of certification within one year of hire date.
• In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, surgical procedures, instruments, sutures, and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Graduate of accredited surgical technician program.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, performs the duties of the scrub person to meet the surgical needs of the patient in the perioperative setting.
• Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
