Responsibilities

• Prepares the surgical suite, ensuring environmental safety for the patient and personnel.
• Demonstrates aseptic technique and surgical conscience.
• Maintains a neat and organized sterile field.
• Labels medications and solutions on the surgical field.
• Returns instruments for decontamination and handles supplies for the next day.
• Stocking of sub sterile rooms and pickups for next day.
• Maintains confidentiality of medical, financial, and employee information.
• Displays service excellence in daily activities and interactions.
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments and assists with inventory and ordering.
• Adheres to University policies and safeguards assets.
