OhioHealth in Grove City, OH seeks a Certified First Assistant (CFA) for part-time 24 hours/week, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off and call-stay. The CFA provides assistance to surgeons, supports exposure and hemostasis, and ensures a safe operative field.
Minimum qualifications include an associate degree in Surgical Technology or an accredited program, CSTF or SA-C, BLS, and 2 years as a Surg Tech in OR.

SIGN-ON BONUS: $7500
External applicants may be eligible for a sign-on bonus with a one-year work commitment. This includes previously employed applicants who have been gone from the organization longer than 90 days.
The Certified First Assistant in Surgery (CFA) provides assistance to the surgeon or group of surgeons during an operative procedure as a first or second assistant providing aid in exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions that will help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient.
