Bon Secours Health System seeks a Surgical Assistant for the new Harbour View Medical Center, opening in 2025. This role involves providing care during surgical procedures, assisting MDs, and fulfilling departmental goals. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, CPR certification, and must be registered with the Virginia Board of Medicine if military trained.

Harbour View Medical Center is Bon Secours’ new, surgically focused hospital, opening in early 2025. It will include 18 medical/surgical beds and up to four operating rooms. The 98,000-square-foot hospital will adjoin the existing Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View campus, which includes an emergency department, outpatient imaging, outpatient lab services, an ambulatory surgery center, and physician practices.
This role involves providing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The team member functions as an assistant during procedures, under the supervision of the MD, performing duties such as providing exposure, assisting with hemostasis, skin closure, and other technical tasks. Additionally, the team member supports the department's mission and goals through various other duties.
