Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for the role.
• Master’s Degree considered under degree equivalency.

Responsabilités

• Creates an educational environment conducive to learning and prepares instructional materials.
• Establishes classroom behavior standards and manages the classroom.
• Assesses student progress and provides reports to parents and staff.
• Plans curriculum and prepares lessons to meet student needs based on development.
• Confers with parents and staff to develop educational programs.
• Creates learning materials tailored to students’ abilities and interests.
• Instructs using strategies to develop sensory, motor, language, cognition, and social skills.
• Motivates students and provides ongoing feedback on learning activities.
• Maintains accurate records as required by law and regulations.
• Assists administration in implementing policies and rules.
• Sponsors student activities and tutors students as requested.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
