Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to receive, process, and sterilize instrument trays for surgical cases. You will clean and inspect patient equipment, assemble case carts, and prepare supplies for per diem use in fast-paced operating rooms.

Candidates must graduate from an approved Sterile Processing Technician Program or a Surgical Technologist Program, or complete hospital-based training; hold certification by HSPA or CBSPD.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved Sterile Processing Technician Program or Surgical Technologist Program.
• On the job training in a hospital based training program.
• Certification by HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) or CBSPD.

Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more.
