Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of Sterile Processing Technician course.
• 1 year of experience as Sterile Processing Technician or Operating Technician preferred.
• Must be certified with IAHCSMM or CBSPD within 18 months.
• Preferred: current certification by IAHCSMM or Certification Board for Central Sterile Processing.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation.
• Assemble and deliver surgical and interventional procedure case carts; pare and replenish materials.
• Collaborate with surgical partners to provide accurate instrumentation and supplies.
