Texas Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the Texas Health Denton facility. This full-time role supports a team-based environment and adheres to lean principles to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will perform instrument tray labeling, wrapping, decontamination, and tracking using the instrument system, ensuring proper sterilization and readiness of supplies for the OR and other departments.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year sterile processing experience preferred.
• CSPDT – Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician upon hire required OR
• CBSPD – Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution upon hire required OR
• CRCST – Certified Registered Central Service Technician upon hire required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs scanning of instrument trays for location and creation of count sheet/label.
• Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays.
• Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/trays.
• Performs scanning of instrument trays to track location using the instrument tracking system.
• Demonstrates decontamination process according to policy and procedure.
• Performs tests and documents as directed to ensure proper operation of washers and Emergency Eyewash and Shower.
• Demonstrates the proper loading technique for sterilization method
• Scans prepared items into correct sterilizer load.
