Position Highlights

• Work location: Flower Mound
• Work environment: Sterile Processing
• Work hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Holidays and weekends required as needed.

Here’s What You Need

• Education: H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: 1 Year of sterile processing experience (Preferred)
• Licenses and Certifications: CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (Required upon hire) OR
  CBSPD - Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution (Required upon hire) OR
  CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Required upon hire)

• Detail oriented

What You Will Do

• Perform scanning of instrument trays for location and creation of count sheet/label.
• Demonstrate proper assembly technique for instrument trays.
• Wrap/contain instruments/trays appropriately.
• Use the instrument tracking system to scan and track location of instrument trays.
• Perform decontamination process according to policy and procedure, including manual cleaning of instruments using automated cleaners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
