Aufgaben

• Maintains accurate records of sterilization activities and inventory.
• Operates sterilization equipment and inspects instruments and containers for cleanliness and function.
• Performs decontamination of soiled instruments and containers according to IFUs and procedures.
• Corrects instrument sets according to standards and tracking systems.
• Maintains inventory levels to support case carts.
• Performs QA audits of peers.
• Collaborates with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterilized instruments.
• Monitors and documents sterilization processes for safety compliance.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues with sterilization equipment and processes.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sterilization processes.
• Trains new staff on sterilization procedures and protocols.
• Ensures proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
