Job summary

Froedtert Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to perform processing and setup of instrument trays, ensuring proper sterilization parameters. You will assemble surgical case carts per surgeon preferences and distribute supplies for Surgery, Nursing, and Distribution.

The role includes maintaining certification and mentoring non-certified staff. Experience in hospital sterile processing is preferred; a High School diploma is required, with specialized training 6 months

Qualifications

• 1 year of hospital experience in sterile processing is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Specialized training (min. 6 mos.-2 yrs.)

Responsibilities

• Process and set up of surgical instrument trays with correct sterilization parameters.
• Build surgical case carts using surgeon's preference lists.
• Distribute supplies and equipment required by Surgery, Nursing, and Distribution.
• Maintain certification and mentor non-certified staff.
