Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago, IL is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the Sterile Processing Department on the night shift. This full-time or part-time role involves handling sterile materials for hospital and affiliated facilities.

You will decontaminate, assemble, package, sterilize, and set up surgical case carts, ensuring quality and proper labeling. Adherence to procedures and accurate distribution of sterile items is essential.

Qualifications

• GED or high school equivalence required.
• Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.
• Certification CBSPD or IAHCSMM strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, package, sterilize and set up surgical case carts per established procedures.
• Ensure quality product for patient care and accurate labeling by department.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution and maintain proper sterility practices.
