Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with a wide variety of instrumentation used in the operating room.
• Ability to operate OR sterilization and processing equipment and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Processes decontaminated medical devices per established priorities and IFUs.
• Receives instruments from decontamination and processes them appropriately.
• Performs cleaning of workspace, instrument room, and cabinets; monitors environmental indicators and sterilizers.
• Completes sterilization processes and performs high-level disinfection.
• Performs other instrument-room duties as assigned.
