Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of sterilization, decontamination, and infection prevention practices.
Ability to inspect, test, evaluate, and troubleshoot instruments and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Clean, decontaminate, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
Process instrument sets accurately and efficiently.
Assemble surgical trays and equipment according to tray listings.
Monitor sterilization processes and maintain documentation.
Maintain inventory within Central Sterile Department.
Inspect instruments for functionality and identify repair needs.
Support case cart assembly and preparation for procedures.
Collaborate with perioperative and clinical teams to ensure timely instrument availability.
