You will clean, assemble, sterilize, and manage instruments and supplies, supporting the surgical team with timely instrument access.

The role requires CRCST or CSPT certification and emphasizes strong attention to detail, record-keeping, and collaboration with OR staff to maintain patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Certification as a sterile processing technician is required (CRCST or CSPT).
• Experience with instrument sterilization, inventory handling, and OR support is preferred but not specified.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays to ensure sterility and readiness.
• Operate sterilization equipment and maintain accurate records to support patient safety.
• Prepare customized surgical sets and case carts based on daily schedules and procedures.
• Manage inventory and supplies in OR storage and ensure smooth operations with the team.
• Respond quickly to instrument requests during surgeries and assist with urgent equipment needs.
