Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Tech to join the Rochester campus in Oakland County. This full-time afternoon shift (3pm - 11:30pm) offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus and a commitment to maintaining instrument readiness for safe, efficient surgical care across the network.

You will operate sterilization equipment, decontaminate, inspect, assemble instrument sets, manage inventory for case carts, and participate in quality audits to support patient safety and surgical

• Perform decontamination of soiled instruments, sterilization containers, and equipment according to instructions for use (IFUs) and established protocols.
• Correct instrument sets according to current standards, established count sheets, and/or instrument tracking systems.
• Maintain proper levels of inventory to ensure availability for case carts.
• Perform regular quality assurance program audits of peers.

Role Overview: As a Certified Sterile Processing Tech, you play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of surgical instruments and equipment. You ensure all instruments are properly inspected, assembled, and sterilized, supporting surgeons, nurses, and patients by providing safe, ready-to-use tools for surgical procedures. Your work directly impacts patient safety and surgical success.
