Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certificate required at hire (ARDMS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• Hospital setting experience and strong customer service skills are expected.
• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound testing per physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Position patients and prepare rooms/equipment; develop films as required.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure proper patient identification and documentation.
• Assist radiologists with procedures and provide patient education as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety/QA standards.
